Post by Bug Sage on Sat Dec 26, 2015 9:03 pm

Name: Aburame Clan
Founder: none.
Location: Land of Volcanos

History: The Aburame was a clan of forest dwelling people. The Sage of Six paths saw their respect for nature and taught them of his ninjutsu. He took the might destruction bugs from the Shikkotsu Forest. These might bugs we're of great power and had the ability to control lesser bugs. They required a rich chakra atmosphere of chakra to survive, thus they were unable to leave the Shikkotsu Forest, one of the three legendary Sage regions. The forest was filled with natural chakra that allowed the bugs to live. The Sage of Six Paths spent much time in all these regions and learned from the mighty creatures that lived with in them.

Understanding the blight of the Destruction Bugs, the Sage of Six path brokered a deal on their behalf. The bugs would live in the bodies of the Aburame clan, in exchange the Destruction bugs would offer their hosts the use of their power; forming a symbiotic relationship. For hundreds of years this relationship lasted and allowed for both species to prosper. After the fall of the old villages the Aburame clan took to find a new home. They forged friendships with other clans that found the Village Hidden in the Volcanoes. The clan and their bugs mapped out a section of the Village as their own. A dense forest that thrived on rich volcanic soil, home to thousands of unique insects and arachnids.

They named this forest and their new clan home, "The Forest of Death." Named after the a treacherous forest of their last home, the Village Hidden in the Leaves. Since that time they have thrived and excelled as shinobi of the Volcano. Utilizing their unique and powerful clan ninjutsu to push Kazangaku to the top of the ninja world. In recent years the clan has suffered from treachery and misfortune. A prodigy by the name of Hakai led a expedition seeking to strengthen the power of the clan, the cost was great as we mysterious lost 10 member on the journey. There was success and the location to learn Sage Mode was found for the clan.

As time continued, the Aburame clan was betrayed. As the name now claim, Bug Sage, Hakai Aburame secret orchestrated a vile plot, that cost half their clan their lives. His name has since been scorned as the betrayer in all written history. It has been four years since the betrayal, the clan still thrives and is majority filled with young shinobi of all ranks. Its influence and presence in Kazangakure can not be denied and is still arguably the strongest clan in the Village.

Special Info:

1. Kikaichu
The most common bug of the Aburame and the staple for all bug jutsu, unless otherwise stated by the jutsu. Members of the Aburame clan actually live in symbiosis with the kikaichū through the Parasitic Destruction Insect Technique. The Aburame, breeds kikaichu inside their bodies and births them with their chakra, and in return, the host ninja receives the life-long ability to control and command the bugs, using them as their primary fighting techniques.

The most common bug use of the kikaichū in combat is to silently ambush an opponent and drain them of their chakra before they notice the bugs.  This process can leave the victim with so little chakra that they are unable to move or fight back. The bugs utilizing the chakra from their host is capable of transformation ninjutsu. They are also capable of being a physical power. With proper control from the Aburame user, the kikaichū are also shown able to transfer their accumulated chakra to others targets, replenishing them and costing the kikaichu their life. Other uses include simply tracking down a target, serving as a protective shield and as a prison to hold and detain a target in place.

A female kikaichu bug can be left on a target and then they can be tracked by smell of all other kikaichu. There are also scout Kikaichu, similar to drones of ants, these bugs are 1.5x faster than regular kikaichu and can be sent out and return to tell the host information about the area. Aburame members can also use their bugs to pull poison out of the body of other people; the bugs themselves are seemingly immune to poison. Thanks to the kikaichū, Aburame clan members are experts in espionage and search-and-seizure missions. They can also be used in great numbers to jam chakra signals, interfering with the abilities of sensor type shinobi. The insects emit a small amount of the their host's respective chakra that they were birthed from. This confuses sensor-type shinobi's chakra-sensing ability, as the insects' irregular distribution and grouping together result in the creation of numerous false 'images' or chakra signals.

Since the kikaichū only have a lifespan of a few hours, they are expendable in combat. To maintain their numbers they are constantly reproducing by the hundreds within their host. If large numbers of the kikaichū should be wiped out, the user can use their chakra to rapidly breed a whole new generation of the kikaichū, repopulating their numbers. Kikaichū are revealed to be unaffected by genjutsu because of their simple nervous systems. They are also capable of feeding their chakra to their host if he is placed into genjutsu, similar to a biju does for its host.  It is also revealed that the kikaichū are shown to possess the ability to quickly mutate and evolve, making them better equipped for a certain battles. The host can then cultivate these specific bugs to increase their numbers, improving the swarms' overall survival rate should the same opponent be encountered again.

2. Shokaichu
The shōkaichū (消壊虫, Literally meaning: Neutralizing Destruction Insect) are one of several species of insect used by members of the Aburame clan. They are ninja silk worms. They can dig into the ground and locate chakra signatures that they then report the positions of back to their respective Aburame. Aburame are  known to store these particular insects within his body. The insects have a 50 meter sensing radius.

3. Kidaichu
The kidaichū (寄大蟲, Literally meaning: Parasitic Giant Insects) are a species of beetle-like insects that are bred and utilized by members of the Aburame clan as part of their Parasitic Destruction Insect Technique. Though initially small in size, if provided with the right amount of chakra, these insects immediately begin to devour the flesh of anything they are touching. This causes them to undergo rapid growth to ultimately consume giant proportions. While this trait makes them effective at damaging enemies, and highly lethal, as noted by Shino Aburame, it also makes these insects particularly troublesome. They do not reflect friend or foe when activated and are only controlled by a never ending hunger.

4. Bikochu
The bikōchū (微香虫, Literally meaning: minute scent insect) is an insect that was used by the Aburame clan in all the great ninja wars. Unlike the other standard insects, the Bikochu is not breed through their Destruction Bug technique and does not live with in their body. The Aburame house them in a in a special clan bug habitat, seal to only clan members. It also has an incredible sense of smell, stronger than any mammal.

The species only lays eggs once every few years during a certain breeding season; a day following a rainstorm. The clan stores a large number of these beetles in egg form. Due to once one hatches, it goes into the pupa stage. After this, it is not long before it metamorphoses into an adult. This is an important part of the bugs usage, as the first scent that the beetle detects after its metamorphosis stays in its memory, so whenever it smells it again it tries to get to the source of the scent. This is what makes Bikōchū coveted, since it can be used as a formidable tracking device. Capable of tracking down targets across miles and even across continents.

5. Rinkaichu
Rinkaichū (燐壊虫, Literally meaning: Phosphorus Destruction Insect) are a breed of nano-sized, venomous insects (ナノサイズの毒蟲, nanosaizu no dokumushi, Viz: nano-sized venom beetles) used by select members of the Aburame clan as part of their Parasitic Destruction Insect Technique. These bugs are the most lethal and rare bug utilized by the clan. Only select members of the clan are biologically capable of hosting these beetles. These nano sized bugs are capable of destroying their enemies' cells, causing excruciating pain in the process.

Unlike the standard kikaichū, which are able to act independently of the user, the nano-sized insects entirely ba be transferred onto a victim's body by direct physical contact or special ninjutsu. Only a mere touch from the user's skin is required as the bugs can circumvent all forms of clothing. However, this apparently does not apply to the user's own clothes, who must instead remove items in order to effectively increase their chances of hitting the target. The rinkaichū are akin to viruses, spreading rapidly and multiplying as they thrive on living cells. They require living flesh to survive on, and will die shortly if their hosts do, or if they leave a body for a period of time. There is also a antidote known to the hosts that puts the nanosized beetles in a hibernation state, halting their damage. Their host can completely reverse the effect, by having the beetles replace the damaged flesh.

The nano-sized beetles work similar to termites on wood, melting the flesh and clothing of their target consuming it. As they eat they produce more beetles creature a nano-sized swarm, rapidly consuming their target, causing excruciating pain. The pain is so serve even experienced and trained high level shinobi will be in shock and scream out. Lesser Shinobi will be crippled by the pain, writhing on the ground. The insect move at the speed of one inch per sec in all directions. Making contact in the center body mass highly fatal. The host of these bugs bodies are unique from other Aburame, having the right genetics with the correct pheno-type to be a host. Hosts of Kikaichu are also unable to learn more than one element. This is because their chakra network is more dedicated to their Destruction Bug, so their chakra is more influenced by the Destruction Bug. This allows them the more enriched bug flavored chakra that can properly nurture and breed the Rinkaichu.
There can only be two hosts at one time.
