[Private/Social] The Three Sannin

Post by Silveria Night on Sun Dec 13, 2015 5:00 pm

Silveria walked along the pathway through the Kazangakure gates, it had been a long while since she and her companions had left from the village in search for their own sources of power and personal growth. She wondered how her two friends looked now, the thought that came to mind was if Akira had grown a little taller and if Kino had grown a beard. The latter growth would cause Silveria to laugh from the mere thought since she'd think that a beard on Kino would look rather funny - perhaps just due to how odd it would be to see him with one.

Her mind was swayed momentarily when she spotted a nice little Dango shop, deciding that she'd go over and purchase some for a snack. She had a love for sweets and so once the Dango was prepared, she'd walk with the small plate that held it and sat down onto the bench just in front of the shop and began to eat some of the Dango on the first stick.

Akira emerged from the fields and moved to the gates of the Lava Village at a slow, methodical pace with his freshly polished katana being strapped upon his back, protruding over one shoulder and being over his fur-trimmed coat. He was dressed in rather unusual attire given his gender and status, wearing a plaid skirt and white shirt over which he then worn in addition the aforementioned white fur trimmed coat with a long tail which trailed nearly to the back of his knees.

Most important of all on his attire, however, was the strange necklace which he now wore upon his neck that held a single blue gem within it's center and on the outer being a horseshoe type shape in red that accentuated his eyes along with the blue, being both symbolically and physically significant. This strange piece of jewelry gave off a faint glow when it caught the sunlight it seemed, though when in the shadows it would noticeably give off a strange black aura that appeared like a sort of smoke, though of course without any odor nor being made of chakra - It was simply strange.

This necklace, or Catalyst as Akira had grown to call it, also gave his own body this same strange smoke that rose from him in wisps to give him a somewhat intimidating appearance subjectively to those he came into contact with - Beyond this cosmetic effect however, there was more. It also enabled him to access previously untapped power that he had not been privy to previously - This new power, The Darkness he was told, influenced him in his daily life and guided him along his path up until even now, to the village gates where could finally return and reclaim the life he once had here, or so he hoped.

Trying to ease his mind of the anxiety that ran through it, Akira's fingers carefully rolled along the Catalyst as it gave off pulses of it's energy that steeled his nerves until he could manage a nod to himself and enter the gates - Returning fully to the village of Lava once more.

Looking around as he walked through the streets, Akira hoped to see a familiar face or two while he ran a hand through the raven-black strands of hair which flowed down his back although he frowned upon noticing that he recognized none that he passed on the streets and what was worse that some few seemed to be a bit fearful of him due to the smoke which rose from him when passing through the shadows of the village's buildings - Though, this could have merely been a coincidence and luckily not many seemed to share this sentiment toward the red and blue eyed male.

Shrugging his shoulders and letting out a deep sigh, Akira moved to a bench nearby a dango shop he frequented during his time in the village previously, deciding to just rest himself after his long journey here and sitting down as he flipped his hair with one hand to move the strands from his eyes.

His gaze then moved onto the sky, looking up at it with a small frown as his Catalyst gave a small pulse as it spoke to him internally: "It will not be easy returning to your old life - But here is the place you can grow even stronger . . . Around all of these others and your kin.. The voice spoke into his mind, causing Akira to simply nod and whisper in reply. "It's never easy to come back home after leaving for so long.." He said, another sigh escaping his lips as he rubbed the back of his head with one hand before then holding the Catalyst within his palm and comforting himself with it's warmth. He waited then, for nothing in particular, simply having decided to rest and drift into thought for the time being unless of course something were to happen or he were to leave this place which he just might soon enough.

Kino was in town again. Having returned to Kazangakure a few hours ago, Kino found himself at one of the main ramen shops throughout the village. This one he had visited frequently, as it was near a Dango shop, exactly across from the one his old friend Akira had frequently eaten at. He was enjoying his meal, hunched over slurping some noodles. A sigh of relief would escape form his mouth as he finished eating the bowl, it'd been a while since he'd eaten. Two days ago was his last meal, and it wasn't a very filling one. In between villages on his way back to Kazangakure he had used up the last of his food, eating one last meal hoping he could make it back to Kazangakure before he starved to death. He was so lazy, he ended up not dashing back, otherwise he probably could have made it back the very same day. However, the thought of seeing Akira when he returned made him more determined to save energy, figuring that the two would begin to spar as soon as the two would see each other, considering the only reason the two, or, at least, Kino had disappeared from Kazan. He had left to become stronger than Akira, to at least be capable of besting him in a spar, and for no other reason. Not for becoming stronger for kazangakure's sake, and not for keeping Silveria's weak ass out of danger, but merely so he can best someone who was equally as strong as him.

Kino was wearing the same attire he had been for almost a week, and it was the clothes he likes the most. A plain, white t-shirt, alongside some khaki colored shorts. His upper torso being completely covered up by his preferred jacket, which he wore no matter what the temperature was mostly. He heard a sigh coming from behind him, he lowered the hood off of his jacket, turning around. Two people were at some shop across the road. He pair for his meal, readying to leave to his old apartment building. He felt like getting some Dango, knowing very well how much Silveria enjoyed gouging food into her face, he figured she would enjoy something like this. He would also buy some for Akira, he figured, though was assuming that the two had even made it back to the village yet. If they hadn't, he decided to eat them himself, or give them to someone seeing as he'd already eaten. He walked up, sitting on a stool provided, and would immediately ask for some food, placing some Ryo on the counter-top, requesting two servings. He knew the area Akira and Silveria lived in - so he figured finding the two would be fairly easy.

She could almost see it now; 'Village Sannin Destroy their Village in Sparring Match', those two had such dangerous chemistry that if she wasn't already sure that they were best friends, she'd assume they were really trying to kill each other -- or that they might one day. Silveria continued to eat and enjoy the soft textured sweet as she chewed on the third sphere, reveling in it a bit before taking note of her surroundings. The sky was a vivid blue that seemed to expand endlessly with only a few drifting clouds that were in sight. There were people walking by, going about their shopping and she smiled when watching a family all together, the boys arguing over who the better Sannin was - Kino or Akira. If she had to make that choice, she honestly couldn't answer, they both had their own unique talents and a true fight between them would be devastating if they didn't have to hold back. Just going by what happened in the Arena alone, that was a close match but now that they were most likely stronger than before? It was even harder to judge. The bench that she sat on meanwhile had seemed to suddenly become a bit more occupied, while she wouldn't have normally paid it any mind, it was when she heard what sounded like a familiar voice that she really started to pay attention.

Yes, yes - she was distracted before but now the person beside her had her full attention giving a slow turn of her head and raising a question their way. "The Dango here is really good don't you think? I come here whenever I find myself stopping into the village." Her tone was kept polite and soft, not trying to spook whoever it was that she had begun to talk to -- it never hurt to be friendly right? She didn't get a good look at the person because her eyes had shifted for the moment onto a third person that arrived in the area. They had already passed her in her short distraction with her new conversational partner but something about that man seemed familiar. Maybe it was the way he upheld himself when he walked with that air of confidence or maybe it was the unkempt brown hair that seemed to jut out every which direction it pleased. "Ah sorry about that, heh - I got distracted again. I never did introduce myself, did I?" Silveria looked back onto the person once again, this time she resolved that even if the man had come to talk to her, she wouldn't ignore the person she was already talking to. "I'm Silveria, the pleasure is all mine."

Akira's gaze was torn from his preoccupation with the sky and to the woman sitting beside him who he at first thought seemed rather strangely familiar but just as he was thinking this she had spoken up about the dango and how good it was along with the fact that she apparently stopped by here when she traveled into the Village. Akira's attitude may have changed during his time away but of course he was not rude to those that merely wanted to spark a conversation and so he spoke up in reply: "That it is - Though, I cannot say that I've stopped by here much due to my absence - Obsidian and I were just return--" He began to motion to, what seemed to anyone but him, thin air before then lowering his hand and remembering that what he saw was only visible by him due to the Catalyst he wore. "Ah . . . Nevermind." He said flatly, shaking his head with a small frown on his lips.

But when the woman mentioned her name, the man's eyes went wide and he stood up in a sudden jolt: "Silveria?!" He exclaimed, before the cool and calm demeanor overtook him once more and his raven black hair fell over his red eye temporarily before he brushed it away and spoke quietly. "It's me - Akira, Akira Tomoko..?" He said, wondering if the other girl would even remember his name at this point while the Catalyst gave a soft pulse of light as it spoke to Akira within his own mind.

"They may have known you before - But what will they think of you now, I wonder? Your eyes, your weapon and of course, I..." The voice spoke, but the dual colored eyed man shook his head and dismissed it for the moment and simply let out a deep breath before another sight caught his eye while he began to look towards where Silveria was - a man who had just purchased some dango at the counter with signature unkempt hair and unusual clothing, it had to have been him - but Akira could scarcely believe it, perhaps he didn't even want to, so he simply stared with wide eyes and a surprised expression on his face as the Catalyst continued to give off faint pulses of it's energy, almost like a heart-beat now due to the excitement and shock in the air.

He was shell-shocked at this point and so he waited, in a state of shock - for what may happen next or what would come of this revelation if anything or if it were even true.

Kino would slowly begin to munch on one of the meals he had received from the vendor. An interesting turn of events had just happened, the two seemed to have ignored Kino's presence for a moment there, however, he would soon allow the two to know of his existence once more. The man beside him, a few seats down, announced his name: "Akira" The name of Kino's rival, a man he knew well, as the two were among the same genin squad, as well as the third person present: Silveria, the third member of the group, and the third sannin to be titled for Kazangakure. He would allow the two to continue sitting there; talking amongst each other, as he would continue to eat on of the two Dango that he'd purchased. Silveria seemed to have eaten some already, he figured she'd be fine the way she was, and decided to eat hers. He might eat Akira's too, considering how good these seemed to be. Akira would seem to be somewhat excited to see Silveria, though he didn't blame him. Kino was pretty thrilled to see the two after such a long time as well. Throwing away one stick, he would begin to eat the other, looking over at the two, Akira's back facing him. "mmMm, long time no see, Akira, Silveria." He would say, somewhat anti-climatically, his voice muffled due to the food in his mouth. It was somewhat disappointed, having went through what seemed to be hell and back training to get stronger, only to have an anti-climatic greeting such as that. He would have figured the two would have instantly began duking it out the moment one another had met each other for the first time in what seemed to be years. He had a hard time keeping track of time during his little misadventures. He would be glancing towards the two, if they had decided to look, they would see Kino pulling back his hood with one hand, and eating with the other. "How have you two been doing?"

A soft answer came from the other person beside her, speaking of an absence and time spent with someone who she was unfamiliar with. She was about to answer the other with some cheering optimism but suddenly there was a quick jolt from the person before her, they had quickly lifted off from the bench as swift as a flash and shouted her name at her. "Hm?" Once her eyes met with Akira's she was taken aback and she couldn't believe this was the very same boy that she had grown up with, he had changed quite a bit since the last that she saw him and that sudden reaction of surprise had caught her off guard. She didn't hesitate though to pull Akira's face into her chest and hold him tightly after raising onto her feet from the bench. "Akiraaaaa~!" She shouted out in utter joy, he and Kino were the only two that she even bothered showing her true emotions with and right now she was overwhelmed with the sensations of pure joy.

She hadn't expected at the very same time though that another voice would cut through the air, her eyes shifting onto that ragged haired man that stood now a couple feet away from them, stuffing his face with three helpings worth of Dango. "K..Kino?" She said aloud, she was almost hesitant to believe that such a lucky occurrence as them arriving at the same place at the same time could occur but yet here they were! She pulled Akira with her and wrapped an arm around Kino's shoulder, bringing the two boys into a group hug. "It really is you! It's been forever.. I've missed you two.." Tears rung up at the corners of her eyes, ever the emotional girl when around the two boys, only them though. So many days, nights, weeks without them and now she could finally stand here and talk to them again, could you really hold it against her for acting like this now?

Silveria came to release both of them at the same time however and backed up with a small shake of her head, finding her actions silly and over-reactive. "Sorry, sorry. What made you two stop here of all places though? I thought I was the only one that had such a sweet tooth -- though that's easy to tell false by the fact you just act three servings, Kino." She rose an eyebrow, a smirk on her lips at the rather pointed fact. She giggled and bumped her elbow against the brown-haired man though. "Who cares though, it's just good to see you both again."

Akira could not help but smile, not only from just how Silveria seemed to be because of all of this and not because of the sly jab that was delivered onto his rival from the woman but because of just how amazingly lucky this all was - The three of them all coming to the same shop at the same time and running into one another like this? The odds had to be astronomical, but here they were talking and standing among one another just like old times, or at least for now.

Although Kino was his rival and his purpose for growing so strong was to defeat him - It did not mean that Akira hated the man, far from it, he considered him a good friend even now, even though they wanted to best one another they seemed to also understand each other on some whole other level that was beyond most, he hoped that the other man felt the same for him in being his friend as well - But nevertheless he would offer his fist to the other man to tough with his own, giving him a small grin: "It's been a time, that's for sure - I'm doing well, Just training to kick your ass of course.." He said, before lowering his hand and giving a soft little laugh and turning his gaze back to Silveria with a rather happy look in his eyes as a smile formed on his lips more fully.

"It's good to see you, too -- A lot has happened, since I left, and I have to tell you." He began to blurt out everything that had happened but quickly decided against it and settled it simply with. "I'll show you everything later.." He corrected, lifting the Catalyst up a bit to show the woman the gem laden necklace for a moment before letting it fall back down against his skin.

He let out a soft sigh, finally catching his breath it seemed from all that had just transpired as let himself return to his typical calm demeanor and look between the two slowly, seeming to be waiting for them to explain what had happened during their absences or if they had any plans now that the three of them were together - he never was all that good at coming up with those types of plans and hoped that the others would be able to think of something or at least go on talking about what had happened to them or what had changed about them and if they had anything to remark about one another - This was their first time seeing one another in a while, after-all.

Kino would be sitting there, Silveria seemed to be overjoyed at the mere sight at Akira alone, she went overboard when she had saw Kino. He was forced into a group hug, he merely sighed, and rolled his eyes off to the other side as he continued to eat. "Nice to see y'all after so long." He would say, his voice continuing to be muffled by the sound of him chewing while speaking. He would look over to Akira, who had mentioned that she'd been training this entire time, much similarly to what Kino's been doing, for a spar that will occur sometime after this reunion. "Have you now?" He would ask, grinning cockily, "That's too bad. I've gotten stronger, y'kno. I don't think you'll be capable of keeping up with me anymore." He said, the nomming of his Dango occuring frequently throughout his speech. Though, he was joking for the most part. He respected Akira's strength, it's proven time and time again to be equal to Kino's, however, he held some truth in his words when he told Akira that he doubted he'd be able to keep up for much longer. The power he ended up amassing had even surprised Kino, much to his surprise, this could be the reason they're calling him a sannin now. While Kino was lost in thought, he wuld hear Akira speaking to Silveria, she seemed to be hiding something, holding up the necklace as if it seemed to be important to him. He hadn't recalled seeing it on Akira before, though he didn't exactly take a major effort to remember any accessory he had worn during the past. Silveria, in the meantime, would decide to have the nerve to attempt to take a jab at Kino's eating habits, "Piss off," He would say, "I'm hungry, it's not that large of a serving." He said, hiding the fact that he had a bowl of ramen, also mentally noting Silveria's inability to count to two properly.

"So, is it the same for you guys?" He would say, the sounds of nomming continuing to fill his speech, the only sound to follow up right away being the sound of him swallowing his food, and releasing a sigh of relief. He eyed the two, his facial expression going more serious. "Are you two being called a Sannin as well?" He would ask them, genuinely curious. "You'd better be, you're my team mates after all. It's already clear that I'm the strongest, but god damn if my closest comrades weren't even near par to me it'd be really shameful on my end." He said, grinning a little bit towards the end. He figured they had been, but the thought of him having a title advantage, and therefore: Bragging rights over the two filled him with his usual cocky happiness.

Silveria would listen to what Akira had to say, noting that there seemed to be more unlying what had been spoken of already. She'd have to see him later about that but it was just good to hear from the two of them like this -- the rivalry between them seemed more heated than ever and she'd even step back a bit more to look between them both. Firstly, she'd shrug off that sharp-tongued reaction of 'Piss Off' by Kino, perhaps he just sensitive about eating jokes and she had indeed made a miscount of the amount that he seemed to be eating. Regardless, now she'd tap her foot to his inquiry to the both of them and nod her head. "Indeed, I've been noticing that lately that I've been being called one of the Sannin of our Village, but it's surprising to hear that you've been chosen to be one too, Kino. A happy occurrence all the same and I hope the same title has been applied to Akira, it'd be good if we three were all on the same slate again."

A thought arose in her mind while she was thinking about what she had just said. They had spent so much time away from the village to hone their skills that she wasn't even aware of what the duo in front of her were capable of anymore. "Speaking of being on the same slate, what have you two learned about and trained in while we've been gone? Don't worry, you don't have to say anything if you don't wish to naturally, I'm just curious to hear how far each of us has developed." She paused and turned her head to look towards more of the inside of the village and chuckled. "Course, you two could always just show me how you used to, with some kind of spar in the Arena. I never did understand what drives you both but, if it's your passion to get better than each other, than who am I to stop ya, right?"

Akira did not seem to take Kino's assertion of him being unable to keep up with the messy-haired shinobi all that seriously, mostly for the fact that he believed Kino was unaware as to what he had obtained during his absence and just how powerful he himself had gotten over his travels and how much he had even changed as a person. He waved a dismissive hand at the later question as to whether the two were being called Sannin as well since he had been, answering with a calm tone of voice: "Of course - It was not much of a stretch as it were, but I've heard it many a time upon my return - Even at the gates." He explained, having indeed been called such a title upon his arrival even and quite often since then despite his relatively short time back.

Akira figured that such a thing was due to how much the three had changed and how much more power each of them had likely amassed among one another - making them such a thing in their own right. He was somewhat skeptical however, as to if this were merely a rumor or if it meant more than just that, he supposed that time would have to reveal the truth and if it were merely a rumor he supposed then that he would have to prove himself truly worthy of the title.

Upon hearing Silveria's query, Akira figured it was best to not disclose all that he had learned during his absence and instead decided to display his further mastery of Paper Ninjutsu that he had trained since he was young and had only recently begun to master by manipulating the paper further than he ever had in the past and so with that in mind he would close his eyes and allow himself to turn into sheets of paper which dispersed in the air, flowing to the other side of Silveria before they slowly begun to reform into the body of Akira himself with a small smile on his lips before he furthered this by creating a small canary with the paper as well, letting it fly about and attempt to land on Kino's head as a show of how well he had begun to master his techniques and how accurately he was able to make his paper after so long spent practicing doing so.

Regardless of whether or not Kino had decided to allow the bird to land upon his head, Akira would soon hold out his palm and allow the paper to return to him as if absorbed into his body before he then gave a soft sigh and shook his head before remembering that since he had just returned he had not had the opportunity to return home and see to it that his belongings were still or place and - more importantly - he needed to get away to train by himself for a little while seeing as since Kino was a Sannin as well he was likely at least within the same area of strength as Akira was and so he would need to grow even stronger if he wished to best him in the arena as Silveria had suggested:

"We'll fight again soon, Kino - And if that's the case, I need to get a little bit of training in. Perhaps we can all meet again soon? I bet we all have stories to tell after having been gone for so long." He smiled to the both of them softly before then turning and preparing to leave as his fingers absently traced along the Catalyst worn around his neck out of habit.

After having said his peace, Akira would quickly begin to walk away, passing by Silveria and whispering to her: "Meet me at the Mountains tonight, I have to show you something.." He would then leave the shop's area, bounding off quickly to his home where he would take a few moments before he then shook his head and gave an annoyed look down to the Catalyst worn upon his neck, hoping that when he showed his newly found source of power that Silveria would accept it or at the very least not try to kill him as he often imagined her doing so in his reoccurring nightmares that plagued him due to the stress of being the vessel for such a being as what he had begun to refer to as Obsidian, the being within the Catalyst who he spoke to oft-times and found solace in doing so.

His only hope was that his two friends would not turn against him - not just yet, he wanted to grow stronger before that happened at the very least so that he could bring the peace that Obsidian had assured him would come when the time came - His only question was of course:

How long would that be?

He would watch Akira's paper techniques demonstration, from what he remembered,Akira had seemed to have enhanced this ability somewhat. Could that be all that he'd done over the amount of time that had passed? No, he figured there would be more. After all, Kino didn't stop with just the one technique he picked up. The main example being a paper bird, which would levitate over onto Kino's head. He allowed for it to, usually he would just swat it away, thinking it was an attack or something, however he figured that Akira, like Kino, wouldn't be willing to spar right now. He was too tired. He yawned, figuring he should get home soon, back to his old apartment complex. Akira had said that the two will fight soon, he merely nodded in reply; "Aye" he said, standing up, "I'll see you two later." he said, wanting to leave and get some sleep. "I'm headin' off to get some sleep. I'll see you later, Silveria." He said, moving towards his home.

Silveria clapped happily to the sight of seeing the advancement in the paper techniques that Akira had displayed when he was younger, it had much more fluid motions and the craftsmanship was definitely on par with something similar to a master. She had even come to giggle to herself when one of the paper pieces shifted into a bird and hovered around or onto Kino's head. He didn't seem to brush it off like she had expected him too, so perhaps he was either too tired to do anything about it or just genuinely didn't mind? Whatever the case was, she nodded her head and gave Akira a few compliments, she was honestly impressed but was also intrigued to see how far Kino had advanced. When Akira spoke of taking his leave, she nodded and watched as he drew closer to her, whispering some further things in her ear to which she just patted Akira's shoulder and let him move on. She'd come after him to the mountains a little later but for the moment after, she focused onto Kino.

"So Kino, what did yo-" She stopped mid way when the other had mentioned he was going off to go rest. Silveria supposed that was fair, he had traveled all the way here and rest was rather scarce in travels when you're a shinobi, she couldn't fault him for needing sleep in the day time. "Very well, but I do look forward to seeing what you can do." She gave him a small wave of her hand and then sighed, looking at her hands. "I still need to traverse to their land.." A small mumble of words had left her just then before she began to sprint further into the city to go about the rest of her current tasks now that her rest stop at the dango place and the meeting of her companions had concluded.
