Quickened and Haste

Post by Itami on Fri Feb 26, 2016 1:18 am

Itami had woken up from what felt like a very serious dream. It was a dream of his future, but also his past. Usually these two forces don't correspond together and work as one, however during this time it was to say that it was an exception. Itami was lying up from his bed, the midnight lunar moon aiming itself to look straight at Itami as he reminisced on what had just happened in the land of dreams. It wasn't a horrible dream, but it also couldn't be said to be a good one. It was about what he has done up to this point. Itami was the type of guy to want to aim for higher, more every single day. And he wanted to do so because he aimed to be the best their was, and to be a master at every single thing he did in life. However, this didn't stop him from having any issues, like constant injury or overwork, however recently he has began to calm down and set a boundary on himself, rather then working arrogantly. Itami was looking back at his past in this dream, and thinking about his current legacy. It wasn't exactly one to be overally excited for, definitely. It was meh at best, nothing that really has made him a somebody in this world of many. He then looked at a image of what could be his future self, and what it had in store. But before he could find out, the dream ended with the ninja seeming to teleport away before Itami's very eyes. This startled Itami, wanting to become stronger and actually bigger in this world. He had to get back to work, and lying around sleeping wouldn't do any good. He had to begin to start up his true journey in this world towards strength, and to do so he needed to get off of his current lazy ass and get to work. it was late midnight when this all occured. Itami knew what he had to do, he had to forge his own legacy with these constant training sessions throughout his hours. Of course he has gotten help from his father, however he needs to do some things on his own, he was an Anbu after all. Itami quickly got dress, and decided the best approach would be to hop from the window down to the first floor outside, in order to not wake his family. Especially his father, being one of the people that he wished to never awake. Ever. Itami knew this would be the series of gaining immense power. However as he landed to the ground from his window, he thought of what he needed to work in first. After beginning to head out towards his usual training grounds, Itami thought up his new plan. The plan to become a speed demon. He was always a fan of speed, and lightning. Speed and lightning go hand and hand, and with this he could really use all of his abilities perfectly with a pinch. He would base his abilities on his speed, of course he has been doing so up to this point, but finally he has realized and decided to make this tactic official. Itami had the sense to always need to train, no matter where he may be or the scenerio. if it was training time, then he was going to train. Therefore, he decided to do as much. Itami began to run with extreme swiftness down the road where he was running down, towards his training spot. Their were streetlights throughout the area, and most likely citizens and shinobi who slept at the time that was supposed to be. However, Itami didnt care one bit, he was on a mission, and this mission would be fulfilled.

He was already extremely fast for his graduating class, always seeming to be that one quick fellow out of the bunch. Of course this training would only expand on that, and make him an even more menacing foe. He continued to run with excess speed, trying to increase the speed where he was at already, and get more and more quick. His goal was to be the swiftest in the world currently, and he knew someone out there had to be beating him currently in that title. Therefore, he will break that and make himself the new quickest. Itami continued to sprint, and in some seconds, he finally arrived to his destination. The training grounds where he's been at for years, practicing his arts. Finally arriving, he felt at peace being home. Where he would find himself training consecutively over the years. It was a fine area. One worth calling his home. And of course, nothing like that would change, and Itami would continue to memorize every place of this area. Itami got right to work however, underneath the midnight sky. It meant nothing to him whether it was day, night, blue, or red. He had things to do, and goals to achieve. Especially agaisn't two people in particular. Stein and Shin. Those two he was going to overcome and beat senselessly soon. He was already on par with his childhood friend Shin, and now it was time for Stein. While he slept, Itami would train constantly to get better. Itami began to make laps around the area, keeping in mind how big this area was, seeming to be like an amazon field trip. Itami began to circle the area constantly, speeding up more and more, until he himself felt as if he was starting to create a tornado. But Itami wanted more, he had to crave more and become more greedy if he wished to do that much, and get more speed. Itami had the thought of infusing a high amount of his chakra into his body, making a sort of cycle in order to hopefully increase his ability with his movement and quickness. This order felt him feel a sort of breeze on his feet, at least thats it felt like. He stopped his movement in order to do this, and after so, began to run in a line. In order to test how quick he could be, and he was pleased to know that it went rather well for him. He speeded up quickly, and seemed to lightning dash in seconds meters away. Itami felt glad with all of this, however this form of speed is not what he wanted. He wished for a way to get speed different from this, and though he would use it, it wasn't what he needed. He needed a sort of pure type of movement, coming from his physical condition alone. Therefore, he began to dash without the need of chakra. He ran, and ran, for what felt as if he was running for his life. He truly wanted to become quicker, and get to a certain point where he could say he was tenfold better then before. And of course, with effort comes improvement, and he began to feel his own physical condition somewhat lighten and becoming quicker. Itami however was beginning to get a little tired from all of the running in such an area he has memorized. It bored him to sight see this, therefore in order to make things a little more interesting, he decided it be time to free run around the village. Yes, free run. It could potentially cause trouble for him, if he caused too much of a racket the citizens could wake and complain, ending up with Itami having to deal with Stein. And man, were those times difficult. However, Itami said screw it, and weighed his training above the others right now. It would benefit them anyway, seeing as his abilities they depended on immensely. So it felt as if it was a good trade off to Itami.

Itami looked at his village in the distance. Currently, he was quite a few minutes away from his village, seeing as this training ground took up so much space. Hours had already went by of Itami just training his physical body, and doing what he must in order to get quicker. He was covered in sweat, and felt dirty. He hated that, and felt as if he would have to clean up as soon as possible. However, he had to finish this training session quickly before he had a chance to do that. Therefore he would take a detour to his home, in order to fully test out his heightened growth and ability. Itami counted down, and began to dash out as quickly as he could in order to get home. His legs felt like machines, something he hasn't experienced before, running so quick. Though he knew he could go even farther then that, and this only being a small step, this would hopefully do for now. Though of course he would need to keep training consistently to get his ability to such a high level. It felt like what seemed to be seconds, he was able to see the world so much quicker, him passing by like being in a blur, going from roof tops to trees, over ponds and the likes. Until finally, he found himself at home, looking up at his window. The sun seemed to be far from arising again, but that was alright. For now, at least, Itami would call off the training and get back to bed, tiring himself out in the process. Then later he would get back on it, wanting to become quicker. He jumped back to his room, happy to see that no one had shown up or expected his absence, took a quick shower, and hopped right back into bed in order to sleep off some of that speed. It was the beginning of a good run for this fine ninja.
