Crisis: Special Characteristics!!

-Special Characteristics-

Special characteristics are passive buffs that give your character traits or abilities that go beyond the norm. These characteristics are based around one's history and a character's clan/bloodline. These characteristics allow for unique abilities and small quirks. These characteristics can affect your Battle RPs, or even your Social RPs, or most commonly both.

Special characteristics are divided between Physical, Mental and Spiritual.

Physical: Physical aspects of your character such as enhanced speed, strength, dexterity, or regeneration, which other characters may not have.

Mental: Aspects that pertain to your intelligence, your charisma, your perception, your knowledge, etc. They affect your mind, and everything in it.

Spiritual: Characteristics that upgrade or alter the way your body utilizes its chakra. Gain more of it, use it more efficiently, great more powerful effects, etc.

Each rank allows the character to possess additional SC slots, and gain SCs of higher rank.

E-rank: 3 Special Characteristics*
D-rank: 4 Special Characteristics*
C-rank: 5 Special Characteristics
B-rank: 6 Special Characteristics
A-rank: 7 Special Characteristics
S-rank: 8 Special Characteristics
SS-Rank: 9 Special Characteristics

*May only possess C-rank Special Characteristics

Special characteristics, in almost every case, are organized into Trees. They start with a C-Rank entry, and then upgrade into more powerful effects. When a Special Characteristic is replaced by another, all benefits given by the previous Special Characteristic cease to be applied. In other words, Special Characteristics of the same tree don't stack. Certain Clans possess Special Characteristics, and just like the Special Characteristics granted by Biju they count towards the total amount of Special Characteristics one may have

Custom Special Characteristics

Clearly we don’t 20 people making the same basic SC for example speed orientated SC and just rewording it and claiming to be there own, there are already speed based things so just “ Improving” them won’t be allowed. So just add your own twist or personal touch rather then rewording the concept “ I move really really fast” . Like say “ Faster in hand movements only with the left arm or Can only reach top speed for a short time or able to hold that speed longer for extend period of times” stuff like that, make stuff your own and don’t copy. We are looking for a reasonable difference between causes or effects in order to claim something as your own.

Special Characteristics represent a talent or area of expertise that gives a character special capabilities. It embodies training, experience and abilities beyond what a normal Shinobi is capable of achieving. During character creation, you are awarded a set number of Special Characteristics based on your rank. Additional Special Characteristics can be obtained through training in character.


Name: Increased Hand Control
Rank: C
Type: Physical
Requirements:
Description: The user is able to weave handseals much faster than the average shinobi. Their hand movements are barely visible to the untrained eye and with far greater dexterity. Complex seal sequences are more easily memorized, and even the most complex of jutsu can be performed with relative ease. The user gains +20 speed.

Requirements: Replaces Increased Hand Contro
Description: The user is able to weave handseals much faster than the average shinobi. Their hand movements are barely visible to the untrained eye and with far greater dexterity. Complex seal sequences are more easily memorized, and even the most complex of jutsu can be performed with relative ease. The user gains +40 speed.

Requirements:: Replaces Insane Spiritual Force
Description: The user has trained their chakra circulatory system extensively, and is now able to mould their chakra to greater effect, producing more powerful jutsu than the average shinobi. They are able to expend chakra faster and with more force than the average shinobi. The power of their jutsu is nearly unrivaled, with even the most basic of techniques able to create a swath of destruction in their wake. The user gains +80 Chakra.

The user is able to summon and maintain an addition creature of C-Rank or less. This Special Characteristic may be purchased multiple times, each allowing the user to summon an additional creature.

Description: The user has trained with their contracted beasts extensively and formed a deep spiritual connection with them. Description:: The user has trained almost exclusively in the art of Kugutsu no Jutsu, and is able to wield their puppets with extreme precision. They act as extensions of the user’s body, and move in concert to take down even the most powerful of foes. A-Rank puppets require 1 less finger to control.


Name: Master Puppeteer
Rank: S
Type: Mental
Requirements:: Puppetry as Primary Specialization, Replaces Expert Puppeteer
Description:: The user has trained almost exclusively in the art of Kugutsu no Jutsu, and is able to wield their puppets with extreme precision.
