Kaos's Mission Log

Post by Kaos on Sat Feb 13, 2016 10:07 am

Find a Dealer:

Name: Find a Dealer
Rank: D
Location: Any Village
Requirements: At least Genin rank (Can be done solo or in a team)
Reward: 250 Ryo, 250 EXP
Description: There has been a recent rise in the amount of drug related crimes in the village, something that can only mean a new dealer is out in the streets, your mission is to find and capture the dealer
Redoable?: Yes

Kaos glances at the mission board, looking through the d-rank missions. The first one to catch his eye, was to catch a dealer.
"Hmm, they want me to search out for a drug dealer, eh? Sounds like it would be fun, and not to much work. Let's see. Hmm, it seems most of the drug-related crimes occurred in the downtown area, where the local businesses reside. Seems like a good place to start, especially considering I really don't have the best underworld associates to ask. I mean, I don't have any associates to ask at all. Well, I'll just keep my eyes posted for anybody looking too suspicious in the downtown area."
Kaos grabs the poster, putting it away in his pocket to show that it had been claimed by someone. He made his way to downtown, which didn't take too long considering the fact that the village was his home, and he had made it a point to find all the shortcuts, and back ways of the place he called home. He continues along, entering the shop's district. He looks around, trying to see if anybody was looking too suspicious. Kaos finally decided the only one looking too suspicious was himself, so he cut down an alleyway, and scaled the sides of the wall, climbing up to the roof of the building. He crawled across the roof, and layed flat down, watching the flow of the crowd beneath him, as they went on their own separate ways. None noticed him, and to further help his goals, he started to supress his own chakra, not wanting any to know that he was around.
He continued watching fo ra bit, not seeing too much, seeing people walk by, enter stores, carrying bags in their hands, two dudes accidentally running into each other dropping the ryo and the bag they carried. The guy to Kaos's left dropped the ryo, and the one on his right dropped the bag, but when they picked it up they picked it up the wrong way. Kaos continue scanning the streets looking for details of any drug dealing, and stopped and stared back at the two guys who were now going their separate ways each holding the wrong items.
Kaos pauses, and blanks, wondering who he should follow, the guy with the ryo or the guy with the bag. Deciding to do the guy with the ryo, passed off of gut instinct, he started following the guy, moving from rooftop to rooftop, being as silent and sneaky as a ninja like himself was suppose to be. The guy never suspected a thing, and every once in a while the guy would stop, look around,  in every direction but up, trying to make sure he wasn't pursued.
Kaos knew he had the guy he was looking for, and waited until the guy had ducked into an alleyway, before dropping on the guy, knocking him to the ground. The guy scrambled to get up and away, but Kaos held tight, and said, "Guess where we're going?"
Kaos dragged him to the village guards, telling them what he saw. They took one look at the guy, started walking towards him, and the guy confessed to what he had been selling.
They thanked Kaos and when Kaos tried to hand them the money he had found on the guy, they waved him away, saying for him to keep it. Kaos smiled pocketing the 250 ryo he had found.

Feeding the Homeless:
Name: Feed the Homeless
Rank: E
Location: Any Village
Requirements: Anyone
Reward: 100 EXP
Description: The local soup kitchen is running a little short on volunteers, so you decided to help them out and volunteer to help for the night, you knew that as a volunteer you would not be paid but you felt that the experience was worth it
Redoable?: Yes

Kaos stop at the local village soup kitchen. He had heard that they were running low on volunteers and needed help for the night. Kaos, never one to forget when he was in trouble and the soup kitchen feed him any time he showed up to be feed, had decided that helping out for the night was the least he could do after all.
Kaos talked to one of the one workers there, who directed him to the person who was running the kitchen tonight. He went over to the guy, and said, "Hey, I'm here to help. Just direct me to where ever you need me to be."
The guy grinned, thankfully that he was getting some help, and pointed over to the area where workers were handing out the food. He said, "Those guys are really the only ones who are short-staffed right now, if you could please help them out."
Kaos nods, and walks over to a wall, where aprons hung that those handing out food donned before they started, he also grabbed a hairnet, donning it on to make sure none of his hair feel into the food.
He went to the line, standing next to a lady, who seemed to be the one running back and forth the most to pass out food to everyone. She grins as well, thankful she wouldn't have to run up and down the line anymore to pass out food. Kaos smiles back, as he starts to pass out food.
As the night goes on, and the lines go from long to short to non-existent almost, and back to long again, Kaos really began to appreciate all the people that worked here daily, giving up their free time to make sure someone else was feed tonight. Working at the soup kitchen also gave Kaos a chance to talk to the people who were eating. He rotated jobs with the person who was picking up plates, silverware, and trash. As Kaos cleaned up the room, he stop every now and again to ask how people were doing, how the food was doing, if they needed anything else.
The people were extremely  grateful and thanked him almost every chance he got, but Kaos just smiled and said, "I just started tonight, I had no real hand in any of this that happens."
Every time he responded, the people were even more thrilled that he was being humbled. At the end of his shift for the night, the person in charged thanked him again, and Kaos just shook his head and said, "I just only did this tonight. But thank you for keeping this soup kitchen activate."
With that, Kaos took his leave for the night, and as he left, his soul felt free.

A moral Dilemma:

Name: A Moral Dilemma
Rank: E
Location: Any Village
Requirements: Anyone
Reward: 100 Ryo or 100 EXP (Only get one based on what choice you make in the mission)
Description: A local storekeeper was making a racket about not serving a homeless man, even though he had the Ryo to pay for the groceries. The homeless man then approached you and asked for you to buy the groceries on his behalf, you can either make the moral choice and buy the man his groceries (which gets you 100 EXP), or make the immoral choice and walk away with the mans money (which gets you 100 Ryo)
Redoable?: Yes

Kaos was walking along in the village, doing a little window shopping, checking out the prices of weapons and such, making a mental note for what he should sell at. He continued walking along, until he heard a racket. A homeless man was trying to buy groceries, but the shopkeeper refused him, stating  that no homeless people were allowed, and they were a burden and eyesore to every person in this village.
Kaos stopped watching this whole process, until the shopkeeper finished, slamming his door shut in the face of homeless man. Kaos could see the glint of ryo in the man's hand, enough to buy the man his groceries. The man turned and started to beg people passing by to just take a moment and buy his groceries for him. None of them even paid any attention to the man, and the man started feeling dejected until he saw Kaos looking at him.
Quickly, the man came over to Kaos and begged Kaos to buy his groceries for him. Kaos, immediately, agreed, knowing that he himself had been close to homelessness after his father had died.
He walked into the store, and the owner upon seeing Kaos, greeted him. Kaos bid the homeless man to follow him in, and when the shopkeeper started to boil, Kaos held up his hand and said, "This man had the ryo. The fact that he had to ask me to come in here to buy it for him states a problem. You will let him buy things from here, or I will have you shut down. If I hear that you had problems with selling to homeless again, I'm not afraid to come in here and to teach you a lesson about what you hold dear doesn't matter. I'm not mad right now, but if you continue to be rude to those who need our help, then you will see my anger and know that it was you who caused it."
The shopkeeper stopped himself, and quietly said, "Alright, buy what you need."
Kaos looked at him and said, "I didn't hear you. Say it, where I can hear you."
The shopkeeper says it in a normal voice this time and Kaos nods. The homeless man glad that he can buy things, quickly does his shopping under Kaos's supervision. As the man finish, both Kaos and him leave the store, with Kaos shooting the shopkeeper one last looked to show that he was serious.

Babysitting:

Name: Babysitting
Rank: E
Location: Any Village
Requirements: Anyone
Reward: 100 Ryo
Description: a woman and her husband are going out tonight but they don't want to leave their 2 year old child alone, so they offered you some Ryo to watch the child until they return
Redoable?: Yes

Kaos stood in front of the house. He came here to babysit a two-year old, and right now, he was super nervous. He had never babysit before and didn't know if he was quite ready to handle babysitting a little kid. he opened up the small gate and entered the couple's yard. As he approached the house, every instinct told him to run, to flee, but he already had excepted the mission and he wasn't about to give up due to cowardice of a a small child that probably couldn't do anything to him.
He knocks on the door, and prays that they don't answer. His own prayers go unanswered as the door creaks open, and two people stand before him.
"Ah, good, the babysitter is here, come in, come in." the man who answered the door said, beckoning Kaos in while walking away from the door. Kaos walks in, closing the door behind him, and looks at everything around him. A nice modest family as far as Kaos could tell.
The woman Kaos had seen was holding the kid that Kaos was sent to watch, and the kid seemed to be stuck to her like honey on flies. She walks over to Kaos, and hands him the kid. The kid immediately reacts and starts to cry and reach for his mother.
"Honey, let's go, and leave these two alone." the woman yells to her husband who had stepped out of the room. Quickly, the man appears and they both exit, after telling Kaos just to be his self and their son would be fine.
As soon as the door shut, the kid quieted down, so Kaos set him on the ground to play with some of the toys that were scattered about. Kaos went and sat on the couch, watching the kid play. The time seemed to pass by, and Kaos managed to keep the kid from eating anything that Kaos didn't think little kids should eat.
After Kaos feed the kid, he also gave him a bath, and as such luck would have it, the kid seemed to quiet even more down after his bath, and the kid started falling asleep. Kaos put the kid in his cradle and listened from the living room as the kid slept, paying attention and making sure the kid didn't wake up.
The time passed fast and eventually the parents showed back up, after what seemed to be having a good time. They asked Kaos how it went, and Kaos gave them a quick rundown. They nodded, and thanked Kaos for his services, telling him that he would be paid through the usual routes for a ninja.
Kaos nodded, and took his leave of the place, thankfully that nothing to awful happened whhile he was watching the kid.

Catch the Kitty Kat:

Name: Catch the Kitty cat
Rank: E
Location: Core of the Village
Requirements: No rank requirement
Reward: 100 ryo, 300 Experience.
Description:
Elder Lady Kitty of the Village's Tribe has lost her favorite cat. Which was all of them. Catch all 10 Kitty cats before the end of the day so that she can sleep soundly for the night. And please bring them back unharmed.
Redoable?: Yes

Kaos reads the mission board, and sees a Catch the Kitty mission.
As he reads through it, he gives out a soft whistle, and says, "10 kittens around the village, this should be good."
He takes notice of all the kittens, with the brief description of all of them, and says, "Got it. Time to find me some kittens."
He hears a cat meowing, and figure that be the best place to start. As he follows the sounds of the cats meowing, he finds all 10 of them, just chilling together. Kaos sneaks up to them, getting real close, and catches the first three before the others have time to react. Instead of running off, or scratching him, the kittens snuggle up to him, and Kaos says, "Come on, let's get you guys home."
Holding on to the first three he caught, he leads the other seven to Elder Lady Kitty's house. He knocks on the door and as the door opens the seven free kittens run inside the house, and Kaos drops the other 3, who also scamper into the house.
"Thank you, kind sir." the elder lady says.
Kaos nods, and takes his leave.

Painting a Fence:

Name: Paint a Fence
Rank: E
Location: Any Village
Requirements: Anyone
Reward: 100 Ryo
Description: A fence needs to be painted and the owner has said that if you do it they will give you some ryo
Redoable?: Yes

Kaos was reading the message boards and noticed that there was a mission for painting a fence. He shrugs and grabs it, figuring that extra ryo was extra ryo, and no matter what anybody says, hard work was hard work.
He arrives at the place where the owner who wanted his fence painted resided, and knocked on the front door. A guy answered it and all Kaos did was hold up the poster for painting a fence. The guy indicated to the paint buckets next to the fence, and Kaos nods
He walks over to the pain bucket and begin his work, remembering what a wise old sage once taught him.
"Up and down, not side to side. Up and down, not side to side." Kaos says, as he paints the fence. It's pretty easy and he goes through the whole fence in little time. He finishes up, and knocks on the guy's door. The same guy opens up, and Kaos indicates the guy's fence. The guy nods, and Kaos leaves, knowing it was mission complete.

Toy Drive:

Rank: E-Rank
Location: Market Area
Requirements: Anyone
Reward: 100 EXP
Description: Some children are less fortunate. There is a toy drive in the Market Area and you should go and help out. You won't get paid because it's a fundraiser but the experience will be invaluable.
Redoable?: Yes

Kaos reads through the missions list, and discovers a toy drive. He reads it fast, and discovers that it's a call to help with the fundraiser. Kaos nods, takes the mission down in his notes, and sees that the fundraiser was starting later on to day. Kaos grins, knowing he had enough time to do a little toy shopping before hand.
Kaos arrives to the toy drive, with a few bags of toys on him, some just simple wood figurines that he carved himself. He drops them off, and tells the worker he's here to help. The worker motions to another empty table, and Kaos goes over to it. Pretty soon people start to drop of toys, and kaos sorts through them, organizing them by what he thought would be an appropriate age level and also separated them by what he thought were more boy and what were more girl toys.
Couple hours later, he finished up, and the toy drive was declared a success. Kaos elated, took his leave glad that he could help.

Weeding a Garden:

Name: Weed a Garden
Rank: E
Location: Any Village
Requirements: Anyone
Reward: 100 Ryo
Description: An elderly lady needs help weeding her garden and has offered you some Ryo to do it for her
Redoable?: Yes

Kaos glances up at the sun, the hot overbearing sun.
"Why did it have to be hot today of all days?" Kaos asked no one in particular. He stood in front of the house that he had been sent to weed, thankfully, it looked like there wasn't too much to do. Kaos waved to the elderly lady, who he had already talked to about weeding her garden, and set to work.
He began pulling weeds out, every single one of them, taking extra care around flowers and vegetables that had been planted here. He didn't want to have pay for any damage plant and so worked extra careful around them. The trowel the lady had loaned him came in handy as he used it to pull up the roots of weeds, just so that the weeds wouldn't come back at a later time. Kaos didn't want to be anything less than perfection, or well, he wanted to make sure no weeds showed up here for a long time.
Kaos finished, and wiped the sweat off his brow. He returned the trowel back to the lady's shed, and waved goodbye to her, knowing that she was grateful for his help today.
